Bengali Smoked Hilsa - Vape Ilish Recipe:
Hilsa (Ilish) is one of the most favorite fish for Bengali peoples. There have number way of cook Hilsa fish. Smoked Hilsa is one of them. It’s really delicious testy. Any body can cook it home just follow the given recipe.
Ingredients for Smoked Hilsa (Vape Ilish):
1 middle size hilsa fish
½ cup sliced onion
3 table-spoon chopped onion
1 tea-spoon cumin seed powder
2 tea-spoon turmeric powder
½ tea-spoon red chili powder
1table-spoon chopped mustard seed
5 pieces green chilies
1 table-spoon salt
Method of Preparation (How to Cook):
01. Place water and 1 table-spoon salt in a presser cooker.
02. Cut the fish bailey and clean well.
03. Now cover the fish with thin cloth.
04. Then the covered fish place into presser cooker water and keep it on heat for 90 minutes or until boil enough.
05. Now heat the oil in a frying pen and add the sliced onion and fry until come brown color.
06. Then add the all masala and salt except green chili.
07. Add the little water and keep on heat for few moments. Add green chili just before remove from heat.
08. Now transfer the boiled fish on a dish and place the cooked masala around the fish.
09. Garnish and serve with salad and potato fry.
