Delicious Dessert Zeppole Recipe:
There have many kind of Zeppole recipe. Different region people serve it different way. We are giving there common simple recipe of Zeppole. Total time is needed to cook it 55 minutes (Preparation: 25 and Cook: 30 minutes).Ingredients for Zeppole:
2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Melted Butter
4 Egg Yolks
1/4 Cup Vin Santo Wine, Rum, or Marsala Wine
1 & 1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
2 Cups Hot Water
Oil for Deep Frying
Pinch of Salt
Confectioners Sugar
Melted Honey
Method of Preparation (How to Cook):
01. In a medium pot or ball, first mix the water and butter, and heat mixer until boiling.
02. Now mix the flour and the heat for few minutes until the mixture dries and begins to pull away from the pan.
03. Remove from the heat, and now slowly mix the other ingredients. Mix finely all the ingredients.
04. Form into dough, and lightly knead for 5 minutes or so until satiny. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit for 30 minutes.
05. Divide the dough into three parts and break off small pieces and roll each piece into a thickness about the width of your finger, 8 inches long.
06. Now heat the oil in a pen and fry it in oil heated to 375 degrees F until become golden color.
07. Remove it from oil and place in paper towels.
08. And finally lightly dust with confectioner sugar and melted honey.
09. Now Zeppole is ready for serve.
