Mixed Vegetable Salad Recipe for Ramadan:
A usually Bengali person likes to eat oily food in Ramada. But it’s not healthy. It’s very impotent to keep healthy food in Ramadan. You can cook “Mixed Vegetable salad” to ensure your healthy iftar in Ramadan. There given below Recipe of “Mixed vegetable Salad”.










Ingredients for Green Salad:

6-7 carrots
1000gms French beans
2 small Cabbage
200gms Broccoli (cut into florets)
2 Capsicum
2 Tomato (cut into thin rings)
4 green chilies (slit vertically)
Finely Chopped coriander leaves
2 lemon (juice)
Black pepper powder to taste
salt to taste 



Method of Preparation (How to Cook):

01. Clean finely and cut the vegetables.
02. Steam all the vegetables, and then add tomatoes, green chilies, pepper powder, lemon juice and salt.
03. Mix finely all the ingredients.
04. Decorate with coriander leaves and serve.

Cholar Daler (Lenits) Halwa Recipe for Shob-A-Barat:

Cholar Daler (Lenits) Halwa Recipe for Shob-A-Barat:
It’s my favorite Halwa. Always my mom cooks it on Shob-A-Barat.  There I am sharing recipe of my favorite Halwa. Look at below.

Note: It’s not suitable for diabetic patient.










Ingredients for Cholar Dal(Lentils) Halwa:

250 gm Cholar Dal (Lentils)
250 gm of grounded Jiggery (Gur)
5 Cloves (Loung)
½ cup of grated coconut (Narikel)
3 table spoons of Poppy Seeds
1 cup of Clarified Butter (Ghee)
50 grams of cashew nuts (Kaju Badam)
50 grams of Sultanas (Munnaqay)
Water as required
Salt to test



Method of Preparation (How to Cook):

01. In a dish soak the cholar dal (lentils) for 2 hours.
02. Now aeat 4 cups of water in a deep pan or pot.
03. Add the Cholar Dal (lentils) and cook it in the pan until it is soft.
04. When it becomes soft, remove from heat and allow sometimes for cool. Then grind it finely and keep aside.
05. Now heat the 2tbsp Ghee (butter) in a non-stick pen.
06. Add powder the poppy seeds and the dry coconut, heat for few seconds.
07. Now add the cashew nuts and sultanas, fry till becomes golden color. Drain out the ghee or oil and set aside.
08. In the remaining ghee or oil, while it is still on the fire; add the cloves and the grinded vholar dal (lentils) with water. And mix the heated powdered poppy seeds, dry coconut, vashew nuts and sultanas.
09. When it starts boiling add the jiggery (gur).
10. Keep stirring until it becomes dark brown.
11. When it becomes enough thick, then remove from heat and transfer in plan dish. Then keep aside for cool.
12. If want you can pieces it on your desired shape.
13. And garnish with the sliced cashew nuts and sultanas.

Bengali Dessert - Sujir (Semolina) Halwa Recipe:

Ingredients for Suji (Semolina) Halwa:

2 cup Suji (Semolina)
3 cup whole milk
3 cup water
1 & 1/2 cup sugar
6 table spoon ghee (butter)
1 & 1/2 tea spoon cardamom (Elachi) powder
Raisin as required
Cashew nuts as required
Sliced almonds as required
Salt to test



Method of Preparation (How to Cook):

01. First heat the ghee in a small pan or pot.
02. Mix cardamom with ghee and fry for few seconds in medium heat.
03. Now add the Suji (Semolina) and fry it for few minutes with constant stirring in low-medium heat.
04. Add sugar and half of both raisin, and cashew nut. Heat for few more minutes in low-medium heat or until Suji (Semplina) and nut becomes golden color.
05 When it becomes golden color, Add water and milk. Mix all ingredients finely and heat until becomes thick.
06. When it’s become enough thick, just remove from heat and transfer on plan dish and allow sometime for cool.
07. After cool you can pieces it on your desired shape and garnish with remaining raisin, cashew nuts and sliced almonds.
08. Now its ready for serve.

I cup Milk powder
Water - 1cup
Sugar - 1cup
2 table spoons ghee (Butter)
½ tea spoon Powdered cardamom
2 table spoons kissmiss (raisin)
½ cup Kajubadam (cashew nuts)



Method of Preparation (How to Cook):

01. Remove the coating of the groundnut and grind it coarsely.
02. Now boil the water and mix finely the milk powder in water.
03. Mix grinded groundnut, sugar and ghee (butter).
04. Keep it on fire and stir it constantly.
05. After it becomes thick, mix Powdered Cardamom.
06. When it’s ready, remove from heat and transfer in plan dish.
07. Now allow sometime to cool and cut the halwa into your desired shapes.
08. And decorate it with sliced kajubadam (cashew nuts) and kissmiss (raisin).

Method of Preparation (How to Cook):

01. First heat the milk in a deep saucepan and bring it boil.
02. Now add grated carrot and keep it on fire and stir constantly until it becomes thick.
03. Now add sugar, cardamom powder, cashew nuts, sliced almond and raisin.
04. After adding above ingredients, continuously stir for 6-8 minutes.
05. Now add ghee (butter) and mawa. Stir well and cook on low heat until ghee start separating.
06. When Halwa is ready, remove from heat and transfer on plan dish and allow it cool.
07. Now cut the Halwa into your desired shapes and add the sliced almond, kajubadam (cashew nuts) and kissmiss (raisin) on top of Halwa.

Delicious Dessert Zeppole Recipe

Delicious Dessert Zeppole Recipe:
There have many kind of Zeppole recipe. Different region people serve it different way. We are giving there common simple recipe of Zeppole. Total time is needed to cook it 55 minutes (Preparation: 25 and Cook: 30 minutes).









Ingredients for Zeppole:

2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Melted Butter
4 Egg Yolks
1/4 Cup Vin Santo Wine, Rum, or Marsala Wine
1 & 1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
2 Cups Hot Water
Oil for Deep Frying
Pinch of Salt
Confectioners Sugar
Melted Honey 



Method of Preparation (How to Cook):

01. In a medium pot or ball, first mix the water and butter, and heat mixer until boiling.
02. Now mix the flour and the heat for few minutes until the mixture dries and begins to pull away from the pan.
03. Remove from the heat, and now slowly mix the other ingredients. Mix finely all the ingredients.
04. Form into dough, and lightly knead for 5 minutes or so until satiny. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit for 30 minutes.
05. Divide the dough into three parts and break off small pieces and roll each piece into a thickness about the width of your finger, 8 inches long.
06. Now heat the oil in a pen and fry it in oil heated to 375 degrees F until become golden color.
07. Remove it from oil and place in paper towels.
08. And finally lightly dust with confectioner sugar and melted honey.
09. Now Zeppole is ready for serve.

2 medium-large green papayas, peeled, seeds removed, and shredded
2 carrots, peeled and shredded
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
4 table spoons Thai fish sauce
1/4 cup minced shallot
3 Thai bird chilies or Serrano chilies, seeded and finely chopped
3 table spoons coconut-palm sugar or golden cane sugar
1 & 1/2 tea spoons minced garlic
2 table spoons chiffonier fresh mint leaves
1 & 1/3 table spoon chopped fresh cilantro leaves
1/2 cup finely chopped peanuts, for garnish



Method of Preparation (How to Cook):

01. Combine the lime juice, fish sauce, shallot, chilies, sugar and garlic in a blender and blend until smooth.
02. Keep aside for 15 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
03. Now combine the papayas, carrots, mint leaves and chopped cilantro in a medium salad bowl.
04. Mix the dressing and toss to combine thoroughly.
05. Decorate with the cilantro leaves and chopped peanuts and serve immediately.

5-ounce 4 sea white fish
1/2 cup chopped pitted black olives
1 cup canned low-sodium diced tomatoes, with juice
2 table spoons capers
4 tea spoons olive oil
1 small onion, diced
1/2 cup white wine
1/4 tea spoon dried crushed red pepper
2 cups packed fresh baby spinach leaves
Salt and pepper



Method of Preparation (How to Cook):

01. First heat 2 teaspoons olive oil over a medium-high heat in a large nonstick skillet.
02. Add fish in heat oil and cook until solid in the center, about 2-3 minutes per side.
03. Remove fish from skillet and transfer the fish to a platter and tent with foil to keep the fish warm.
04. Now heat again the remaining 2 tea spoons of olive oil in the same skillet.
05. And add onion and saute in the heat oli and cook it for 2 minutes.
06. Now mix the wine and cook until reduced by half, about 2 minutes.
07. And add the tomatoes, olives, capers and crushed red pepper. And cook for 3 minutes.
08. Stir in the spinach and cook until it is wilted, about 3 minutes.
09. Season with salt and pepper. Mix the sauce over the fish and serve hot.

1/2 tea spoon grated almonds
1/2 tea spoon grated pistachios
Salt if required



Method pf Preparation (How to Cook):

01. First mix together khoya and coconut and fry them lightly with ghee on a low temperature.
02. Now adds the cardamom and mix finely.
03. Prepare the syrup by dissolving sugar in the water. And stir the coconut mixture into the syrup.
04. Grease the plate and spread the grated nuts on it.
05. Spread the prepared (Coconut mixture) evenly over the plate and allow sometime to cool.
06. Now using the knife, cut it into your desired shapes.
07. Turn them over so that nuts covered part appears on the top.
08. Now Coconut Barfi is ready to be served.

Ingredients for Clarified Lemon Butter:

3 sticks (1 1/2 cups) unsalted butter, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
3 lemons, zested

Ingredients for Lobster Tails with Clarified Lemon Butter:

4 lobster tails (each lobster 1/2 - 3/4-pound)
1/4 cup Clarified Lemon Butter
4 metal skewers or 4 wooden skewers




Method of Preparation (How to Cook):

Clarified Lemon Butter:

01. In a small, heavy bottomed saucepan, heat the butter over medium-low heat.
02. And pour the mixture into a 2-cup glass measuring jug.
03. Let the melted butter stand for 5 minutes.
04. Remove the foam from the top of the butter.
05. Place the lemon zest in small bowl.
06. Pour the clarified butter over the lemon zest and discard the milk solids left in the bottom of the jug.

Lobster Tails with Clarified Butter:

01. Light the coals in a fire pit 1 hour before cooking or preheat a gas or charcoal grill.
02. Using a sharp knife, cut through the top shell lengthwise.
03. Cut a slit through the meat lengthwise taking care not to cut through the bottom shell. Smoothly pull the shells apart. Thread a skewer, starting at the underside base of the tail, along the inside of the bottom shell.
04. Now brush the meat with 1/4 cup of the clarified lemon butter. Cover the lobster tails in heavy-duty aluminum foil.
05. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until the lobster meat is solid.
06. Place the remaining clarified butter in a butter warmer or dipping bowl.
07. And remove the meat from the lobster shells and dip in the Clarified Butter.
08. Now it will be ready for serve.

It’s my one of the favorite chutney. Just today also I take it. My mother can make it very nicely in home. Today I follow how can make it and now try to share on my Blog. It’s not critical to prepare. Just follow the recipe to cook it on your home.









 Ingredients for Pineapple Chutney:

1/4 big size pineapple
1/2 table spoon raisins
2 bay leaves
2 - 4 table spoon sugar
1" ginger chopped
1/8 tea spoon mustard seeds
1 tea spoon oil
Salt to taste


Method of Preparation (How to Cook):

01. First remove the hard core of the pineapple.
02. Cut them into fine sizes. Keep a side.
03. Now heat up oil in a kadai or pen.
04. Add the mustard seeds with oil.
05. And when it starts to crackle, add pineapple with it.
06. Stir fries it for few minutes and adds salt.
07. Now add 1 cup of water and sugar with pineapple. And also add 2 bay leaves, raisins and cut ginger.
08. Boil at low temperature till the chutney is thick.
09. When it is thick or well cooked remove from heat.

Bengali Cholar Dal Recipe:
Dal is one of the common foods for Bengali people. Almost everyday they like to eat it in dinner and launch. There have different kinds of Dal. But now here we talk about Cholar Dal. Its easy to cook just follow the recipe. 










Ingredients of Cholar Dal:

250 gm Bengal gram divide (cholar dal)
4-5 cup water
1 table spoon ghee
5-6 green chilies slit
3 bay leaves
1/4 coconut
1 tea spoon garam masala powder
1 table spoon coriander powder
1 tea spoon red chili powder
1 tea spoon turmeric powder
1 table spoon cumin powder
3-4 tea spoon sugar
1 table spoon raisins
Salt to taste



Method of Preparation (How to Cook):

01. First wash the dal finely and boil it with 4-5 cup of water.
02. Now add turmeric, cumin, garam masala, red chili powder and also add 5-6 pieces slit green chilies.
03. Add salt and sugar to depend on your taste.
04. Mix the all ingredients finely and stir fry it till the dal is soft and thick.
05. Now heat up 1 table spoon ghee in a pen or korai. And mix in bay leaves and garam masala with ghee. When it stops spluttering mix in it to the dal. Mix it thoroughly.
06. Now cut the coconut into small dices and fry in ghee till light brown color. And mix the coconut with dal. Stir little time. Remove Dal from heat.
07. Now Cholar Dal is ready to serve. Serve hot along with luchi.

1 small Spanish onion, finely diced
2 cloves garlic, finely diced
2 table spoons olive oil
3 table spoons Madras curry powder
1/4 cup cold water
2 cups good quality mayonnaise
2 table spoons fresh lime juice
Salt and freshly ground black pepper


Ingredients for Lobster Rolls:

2 pounds grilled lobster meat, cut into 1/2-inch chunks, from 4 (2 to 3-pound) lobsters
1/2 cup celery, cut into 1/4-inch slices
1 & 1/2 cups Curry Mayonnaise
1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
1/4 cup coarsely chopped cilantro leaves
8 hot dog buns
1/4 cup olive oil or unsalted butter
Salt and freshly ground black pepper




Method of Preparation (How to Cook):

Curry Mayonnaise:

01. First heat olive oil in a small saucepan with medium heat.
02. Mix onions and garlic and cook until soft, cook it for 3 to 4 minutes.
03. Now mix curry powder and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
04. Mix water and cook a few minutes longer.
05.Remove mixture from heat and let cool.

Lobster Rolls:

01. Place curry mixture, mayonnaise and lime juice in a blender and blend till become smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Refrigerate it until ready to use.
02. Mix finely all the ingredients in a large bowl and season with salt and pepper.
03. Split the rolls and brush with olive oil or butter.
04. Grill, split-side down, until golden, about 30 to 45 seconds.
05. Fill each roll with the lobster salad and serve it immediately.
